GENERAL
Here you will
find all photographs from the current Galleries as well
as
past presentations. Even if you aren't in the shopping mood,
look around and enjoy. The printed work is of exhibition quality
although, due to broadband constraints, the compressed images
can't do
justice to the high quality of the final print.
Your
photographs are printed on the highest quality archival paper
using an
Epson Photo Stylus 2000P printer. The pigmented inks and archival
paper assure a life of 80+ years. They are available as 8.5in
x 11in or 13in x 19x prints, matted, unmatted or framed. You can
view examples by clicking on the "EXAMPLES" tab above
or at the bottom of this page.

EQUIPMENT
All
photographs were taken with either an Olympus e10 or C3030zoom
digital camera. I love the freedom that digital gives me, although,
I must confess, that I've never spent any length of time with
film and have no plans to do so in the future. Although, I'm
strictly digital, nothing has been added to (or taken away
from) these
photos. I will be experimenting with digitally enhanced photos,
but they will be identified in their own folder.
CONSERVATION FRAMING
I use
a picture framing and matting method that preserves and protects
your
artwork. The materials used, protect the artwork in such a
way as to avoid fading, yellowing, staining and even being
burned
by acids in inferior framing materials. I use the highest quality,
museum quality, matte black, metal frames. The mat board is
Bainbridge Alphamat that protects from pollutant gases entering
along the glazing edge and from the artifact's aging by-products.
The archival mounting board protects the artwork from pollutants
entering the back of the framed piece from foam out-gassing
and from degrative by-products. The artwork is further protected
by the use of UV Plexi-Glass which filters 98% of harmful ultraviolet
rays. In addition, Plexi-Glass is lightweight, shatterproof
and easily cleaned with mild soap and water solution
and soft cloth. Your new work of art is ready for hanging right
out of the box.
NOTE CARDS
Note
cards are printed on the highest quality archival paper that,
when folded,
measures 5 x 7 inches. The
front of the card is imprinted with your image of choice leaving
the inside plain for your personal notes. Each card is a miniature
work
of art suitable
for framing. These are cards that your recipient
will keep for a long time and have a tendency to display. Not
only are
you sending your thoughts, but also a beautiful gift as well.
Cards are shipped in a gift box, each containing a set of 5
beautiful cards. You can choose a set of 5 cards of the same
image or
do a "mix and match" set of 5 single cards. There is
a 5 card minimum.
