Paintings...

This portolio is all about breaking the rules. It is an exercise in creativity which is the main reason I took up photography as my creative outlet.

These are my paintings, but not in the "traditional" sense. I don't use a brush, paints or water colors. Instead, I use the camera lens and do vertical and/or horizontal panning to "paint" what I see and feel. The camera is my brush; the light is my paint. I try to let my mind become one with the scene before me and move the camera to follow the wind and light.

All the images in this Portfolio were created using vertical panning at f/11 and 40 sec shutter speed. This is one time when the wind is a plus. So the next time the wind is driving you crazy.....

Don't dispair! EXPERIMENT and BREAK THE RULES !
