Fences In The Mist...

I love the gnarled, weather beaten wood of an old split rail fence. There are so many intricate lines and designs etched into each rail. Add to that, the gentle mist of an early country morning and I was in heaven. I was also amazed that I was up and out that early. One of these days I will learn.

All the images in this portfolio were of the same fence on Pioneer Farm located within Twin Falls State Park near Mullens, WV. I could have spent the whole day with this one fence and maybe, one day, I will.
